The game Enemy Invasion has millions of fans around the world. Players team up in high-speed spaceships, battling an AI-controlled alien race known as the Krux among the stars. The best players live rent-free in gaming houses and compete for huge cash prizes.
In Oslo, friends Mitcho and Ricco are on the verge of making it big. They are only a few points away from becoming ACEs – elite players who have what it takes to enter the professional gaming scene.

When the boys receive a VIP invitation to a major tournament in Malmö, they finally have a chance to prove what they can do. But Mitcho needs a new computer to compete. To get one, he borrows money from Barish, a childhood friend who has taken a criminal path. The money comes with a price: Barish demands that Mitcho hack into his girlfriend’s Instagram account and spy on her.
At the tournament, however, Mitcho and Ricco discover that the game’s publisher, Public Games, has very different plans for them. Enemy Invasion is not just a game…
