Frenzy has a little taste is the third book in the series about Frenzy, the boy who rebels against moralising finger-wagging. vividly illustrated by Jens K. Styve.

“Don’t be picky, Francis. Just have a taste!” Mum and Dad say. They want him to taste foods he doesn’t like. They push and lure him, but Francis doesn’t budge: All he wants is his beloved cheese sandwich.

Later, when he opens his lunch box, he discovers that his parents have swapped his cheese sandwich for a shrimp salad. It’s an ambush! Francis loses it and becomes Frenzy, and this time, he’s not alone: He leads the entire school in a revolt against the adults’ tyrannic taste tricks.

The series has been described by critics as “anarchic fireworks” and compared to Roald Dahl and Jakob Martin Strid.
