Tre vegar til havet er mange ting, men først og fremst er det ein modig roman…Denne svært komplekse og genuint tragiske tematikken turnerer forfattaren med ein intelligens, ein empati, ei språkleg fingerspisskjensle og eit moralsk vidsyn som til saman gjer Tre vegar til havet til eit betydeleg kunstverk. Av alle desse grunnane er det ei stor glede å tildele Nynorsk litteraturpris for 2018 til Brit Bildøen!»
