“Palestine. Israel’s robbery, our betrayal” is the full story of the years from 1948, when the state of Israel came on the map, until today.

The book offers knowledge and revealing accounts of Israel’s occupation and colonization of Palestine. The story is divided into eight parts, where the first four take us up to the war in Gaza in 2009, while the second half of the book covers the years 2009-2023. Here are a number of new revelations thanks to Tveit’s unique and in-depth interviews with researchers, journalists and others — a number of them Israelis. Tveit has also met officers, diplomats, politicians and human rights activists in his extensive research. Over the years as a journalist in the Middle East, he has amassed an extensive specialist library. More than ever before, in this book we meet a personal and committed narrator, who is relentless in his review of Western lapses in this long-running conflict.

As a journalist and author, Odd Karsten Tveit has covered the Middle East since 1979. He has been a correspondent for NRK for two periods and has written a long series of award-winning books about the region. With his extensive knowledge and rich sources, he is an international expert on the modern history of the Middle East and the political significance and ramifications of the conflict.

Excellent!
